I’ve had such an amazing time in Cologne this weekend. It was my first time going there and I absolutely loved it. If you were considering adding it to your travel bucket list: do it! Especially in the days surrounding Christmas. I guess everyone who has ever considered going to Cologne looked into visiting the Cologne Cathedral (or Kölner Dom). It is the symbol of Cologne. The Cologne Cathedral was actually one of the first things we’ve recognised this saturday when approaching the city. I was quite excited to see the cathedral (from the inside). It really is worth a visit. With buildings like the Cologne Cathedral, I guess the golden rule is: You have to see it for yourself.
